Caio Induscar delivered 13 Apache VIP buses to Capital do Agreste and Viação Tabosa, companies which recently won the contract in Caruaru. Together, the companies make up 60% of the public transport system in the city, which has approximately 350 thousand inhabitants, and is located 130km from Recife, the capital of PE.

The Apache VIP combines modern design, low maintenance costs, and strength which makes the model ideal to meet the requirements of these clients, as Caruaru has an undulating terrain, reaching points with a 550m altitude.

The bus is fitted with an electronic ticketing system speeding up operation, security cameras, elevator for full access, and electronic itineraries. The buses also have a distinctive exterior, with a standardised visual identity using colours which identify the operators.

For driver safety and comfort, the vehicles are fitted with a hydraulic driver’s seat with headrest, LED illumination for the driver and conductor, and a door interlock.
