Caio wins the Lótus Prize, for the 7th year in a row, as the “Brand of the Year in Urban Bus Bodies”

2020-01-27 Bus manufacturer Caio wins for the 7th year in a row (2014 - 2020) – in the category “Brand of the Year in Urban Bus Bodies” of the Lótus Prize – one of the most relevant awards for commercial vehicles in Brazil, conceived by Frota Publishing House.

The company confirms its traditional leadership in the marketing of urban bus bodies. “Reaching the leadership level is a hard and satisfactory work. Remaining in this position is a daily effort and results from the work of our teams, who share the same mission: always do the best for our customers. Therefore, this is an achievement of the entire Caio family”, says the national sales manager, José Gildo Vendramini (Zezinho).

The award, in its 27th edition, points to the preferred brands by the Brazilian carriers, in 24 different categories, based on the data compiled by the Frota DataBank, in partnership with Fenabrave, which considers the plate licensing of Renavam (National Registry of Motor Vehicles) in 2019.

Completing 74 years in business in this month of January, Caio is the largest urban bus manufacturer in Latin America, and stands out in the industry for offering mobility solutions which anticipate trends and the Market needs.

Caio’s Industrial Director, Maurício Lourenço da Cunha, points out one of the brand’s differentiators, “We work on the orders on a unique way, in a process called ETO – Engineering To Order environment, which makes it possible to customize our entire product portfolio, meeting customers’ specific needs.
