Caio Group donates one thousand blankets to Botucatu Social Fund

2020-08-12 The Caio Group, constantly engaged in solidarity actions, made a donation of one thousand blankets to the Fundo Social de Solidariedade de Botucatu (Botucatu Social Solidarity Fund), on August 10th.

The presentation was made by the Group`s corporate Human Resource manager, Silvio dos Santos, representing the Supply Director, Marcelo Ruas, and other directors and employees.

For the president of the Social Fund, Aparecida Pardini, the important compassionate gesture will extend to many vulnerable families. “We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to the Caio Group for this overwhelming donation to the Social Fund. These one thousand blankets will be destined to institutions that serve families in social vulnerability, to “cabide solidário” campaign donation points spread strategically throughout the city, and to “Casa Solidária” Project”, she emphasizes.

According to Silvio dos Santos, the donation of these blankets reaffirms the companies’ social role. “Once again, the Caio Group was able to understand the importance of an open-hearted attitude, through acquisition and presentation of one thousand blankets that will be donated to the population. We are continuously attentive to the needs of our employees, the Botucatu community and the region”, he concludes.

The Group`s companies are constantly engaged in social actions, collaborating with the city of Botucatu and the region in several situations, as in the case of heavy rainfalls that caused vast damages to Botucatu, in the fight against COVID-19 and, now, with the donation of one thousand blankets.
